The modern day Pettavel Winery and Restaurant features a state of the art winery, cellar door sales, fine dining restaurant and flexible function facilities, positioned on a hill top with sweeping views. Situated at the start of the Great Ocean Road, Victoria's premier tourist attraction Pettavel welcomes visitors year round.

Three Pettavel wines were recently rated in the top five imported white wines in Japan. FEDERATION SQUARE REGIONAL WINE AWARDS
Pettavel was awarded two Gold Medals at the 2007 / 2008 Federation Square regional wine awards, for our 2008 Evening Star Sauvignon Blanc and 2006 Late Harvest Riesling. Pettavel once again, this year are thrilled to win ‘Best Modern Australian - Regional Restaurant’, for the second year running.
In 2005, Pettavel was inducted into the Restaurant and Catering, Victoria, Hall of Fame, after winning ‘Best Restaurant in a Winery’ category for three consecutive years. SPRING 2008
Early spring weather has brought warm weather and valuable rainfall producing an early bud burst in our Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vineyards, approximately two weeks earlier than in 2007. The vineyard team have completed the important pruning process in the vineyard, and they now wait for the shoots to develop before shoot thinning and positioning begins.
In the winery blending and bottling continues as new vintage wines are required for release and enjoyment by our customers around the world. New export markets that have opened to Pettavel in recent months include Taiwan, The Maldives, Russia and Korea, keeping the wine team busy preparing and dispatching shipments of our estate grown and made wines around the world.

2008 Evening Star Sauvignon Blanc

2005 Southern Emigre Shiraz Viognier
The latest release of our flagship wine displays layers of dark complex fruit, fragrant French oak, cool climate spice and firm ripe tannins. Full bodied, with intense flavours the Viognier softens the firm Shiraz tannins during the wines youth while adding perfumed aromas and a deep purple hue. The latest addition to the Pettavel wine portfolio, the 2007 Evening Star Pinot Noir captures and displays the soft ripe red fruit characters produced in our Geelong vineyards. Pettavel Restaurant
The award winning Pettavel Restaurant is open for lunch seven days a week from 12:00pm, and each Friday evening from 6:00pm with reservations essential. The modern cuisine at Pettavel delivers three seasonal entrees served prior to a choice of main course and dessert.
