Geelong Otway Tourism (GOT) is a regional tourism organisation located in south west Victoria covering the region from Werribee to Geelong, along the Great Ocean Road to Lavers Hill and hinterland areas including Colac and Winchelsea. GOT is a member-based organisation working in partnership with several Local Tourism Associations across the region.  GOT is responsible for marketing the region and its main role is to achieve sustainable growth in tourist visitation and expenditure for the region. 		 
 
 
  Creating a Sustainable Future for the Great Ocean Road

Geelong Otway Tourism is working with key stakeholders along the Great Ocean Road to encourage sustainable tourism throughout the region.

Businesses along the Great Ocean Road are encouraged to participate in this initiative by completing a short industry survey  and attending one of a series of workshops being held along the Great Ocean Road in November.

Three Victorian Tourism Awards for Geelong Otway Tourism

Geelong Otway Tourism had another successful night at the Victorian Tourism Awards, collecting two awards for Visitor Information Services and entering the Hall of Fame for Meetings and Business Tourism with the third award in that category in as many years.

The People Choose Bellarine Brewing Co. 

Bellarine Brewing Co tasted success at the recent Federation Square Beer Tasting event, taking out the Peoples' Choice Awards in three categories.  Almost 2000 visitors sampled beers by boutique breweries across the state over two nights at the showcase.  The successful Bellarine Brewing Co beers were:

Best Lager for the Bellarine Brewing Co Lonsdale Lager

Best Pale Ale for the Bellarine Brewing Co Queenscliff Ale

No Longer the Black Sheep of the Family

After renovations, Lamby's Restaurant and Bar has re-opened . Part of the Lambys family (along with Lamby's Tavern) and previously called Black Sheep Café,  the café has a brand new style. Now, its anything but the "black sheep".
